The story
Scotty wakes up before the sun. Nobody asks him to. One morning he runs all the way to the edge of the world, and that is where he meets Pricey, a macaw who says he is the greatest pirate who ever lived, and Pinchy, a crab who was already there and is not pleased about any of it. A bottle washes up with a map inside. On the way to the island they find a sea turtle tangled in plastic and old fishing net, too tired to swim. Nobody asks Scotty to help. He goes in anyway, and that one choice is what leads them to the hidden lagoon, the crystal cave, and the ancient crocodile who says he has been waiting. What is written on the note inside the chest is worth more than all the gold around it.
